A Sweet-Filled Sunday at Concept Coffee Roasters

Minimalist, Japanese-inspired decor greets you the moment you step into Concept Coffee Roasters. Additional seating is available underneath sun umbrellas — the perfect spot to settle in for a lazy Sunday afternoon with your pet. Parking is convenient with a few street parking and rows of additional parking near the train tracks on the side of the building.

A wooden showcase brims with goodies and baked goods just waiting to be paired with your favorite drink. The beans, of course, come from Kingdom Coffee Roasters — this place is a collaboration between the owner of Gami Burger and Kingdom Coffee Roasters, so expect good bites to go with your favorite cup of Joe. I did see many customer ordered breakfast sandwiches, eggs and bacon paired with a very fluffy croissant like bread. I must come back for the sandwich one day.

I chose the oat milk Cappuccino like usual. I’m instantly enveloped by that familiar, smooth fragrance of toast and the smoky depth of the espresso. On the side, a fluffy, airy waffle with caramel butter rounds it all out — the perfect pairing for a sweet-filled Sunday.

Concept Coffee is definitely a destination spot on your Sacramento midtown trip and can be easily linked up to other activities and a short stroll to the farmer market on the weekend. I would recommend putting it on your list of top places for meetup and Sunday brunch for midtown, Sacramento.
